About Us

OUR STORY

In 2006, Wayne, Jeremy, and Kelly founded CIP Solutions to bring their musculoskeletal experience from athletics to labor and industry. They quickly saw how impactful the sports medicine model is for the worksite environment.

They understood how unpredictable worksites were and how workers' daily decisions could lead to unforeseen consequences and take a toll on their minds and bodies. They saw how most injury prevention efforts were reactionary–based on metrics that defined past incidents. Safety leaders were being pulled in two directions: protect every worker and keep a healthy bottom line.

Wayne, Jeremy, and Kelly knew that safety is more than the absence of incidents. Safety involves actively reducing risk through awareness, training, continuous improvement, and building trusting relationships with each worker. This is the essence of the Sports Medicine Model.

The CIPS leaders began working with their clients to develop a more resilient workforce. Embracing a "Boots to Suits" approach to relationship building, they forged relationships from the ground up. They got practical with every worker through ergonomic support, functional training, and education. Workers began to own a workplace athlete identity, actively reducing their musculoskeletal vulnerabilities.

Confidence becomes resilience when a worker becomes an athlete.

From those earliest engagements to nationwide partnerships, CIPS remains steadfast in its mission to empower safety leaders to develop a more resilient workforce. When a CIPS client enters a safety meeting, it becomes a celebration of success and progress. Every team member feels more equipped to approach every day with ergonomic confidence and face the uncertainty of the worksite with more resilience than ever before.
